- • Conduct and prepare financial analyses;
• Perform market analyses and public policy research;
• Prepare reports, proposals, and correspondence;
• Consult with a wide range of clients nationwide, including government agencies, non-profit and for-profit organizations; and,
• Assist in a wide range of direct client service activities.

Required Skills and Expertise:
- • Master's degree and at least one year of related professional experience

• Superior writing and communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, analyses and correspondence.
• Demonstrated ability to construct and revise financial spreadsheet models, and conduct sensitivity and market analyses.
• Working knowledge of fundamental principles in real estate, land use planning, affordable housing development and policy, redevelopment, and economics.
• Strong facility with Internet research and knowledge of real estate and finance database programs.
• Keen interest in affordable housing policy, finance, development and economics, as well as low income neighborhood revitalization, redevelopment and economic development.
• Strategic insight, teamwork and personal initiative, including a keen desire to 'get it right.'
• Superior computer skills, including high-level proficiency in Excel and Word, in a Macintosh environment.

• A dedicated professional in the field of affordable housing, redevelopment, finance and urban planning with at least three to five years' professional and successively responsible achievement.
• Superior economic analysis skills in Excel for project transactional analysis, public finance, and market economic analysis at the micro-level for project feasibility.
• Superior writing and communication skills: clear, succinct, incisive, focused.
• Research skills, work ethic and acumen that will lend insight, clarity and understanding to complex problems in redevelopment and affordable housing policy, development, finance, asset management, and strategic and business planning.
• Superior computer skills in Word as well as web-based and online database research in real estate, finance, law and economics.
• Project management experience is preferred.
A graduate degree in real estate, economics, business, public policy, or urban planning is strongly preferred, as is demonstrated experience in business development and proposal preparation. Experience in both public sector and private sector professional environments is preferred.
